The Asset Story

We bought this property because it felt unique to Fort Worth, with the character you’d expect to find in Brooklyn.  A landmark from 1888 and sitting right on Main Street, it had original hardwood floors, unique layouts, and a kind of character we hadn’t seen anywhere else in the city. With commercial space at street level and apartments above, it felt alive, woven directly into the energy of a neighborhood that was clearly finding its stride. At the same time, there were signs of opportunity: underutilized space, a large commercial vacancy that had emerged post-COVID, and rents that hadn’t yet caught up to what the area was becoming. We felt a responsibility to step in, not to change what made it special, but to give it the care, structure, and intention it deserved so it could fully live up to its place on Main Street.
